Raising awareness and deepening understanding of sex, gender and sexuality.

The purpose of these two training days is to raise awareness and deepen the therapist’s understanding of sex, gender and sexuality, exploring how they are three distinct and separate concepts that are often unquestioningly mapped onto each other. This includes exploring how our own belief systems and moral codes about sexuality and gender influence and determine our clinical work with clients.

This workshop is open to those students who have completed the postgraduate course and are interested in exploring their own relationship to their gender and sexuality identity, with a view to extending this work into their clinical work with clients.

(This is similar to Sexuality training weekend now taught to 1st year students at the PsykosyntesAkademin)

The 2 days includes teaching, experiential work and small group discussions.
