The Ways

The Ways. Kursen ingår som en modul i PsykosyntesAkademins tvååriga grundutbildning.

Vi vänder oss till dig som gått grundutbildningen på PsI/PsA och ännu inte gått The Ways tidigare, eller som gått den äldre versionen, men även du som helt enkelt vill gå om kursen är välkommen!

The Ways is a course which addresses our deepest purpose in life, focusing on the unique quality and direction of our individual Will and its relationship to the Universal Will.

The course offers the opportunity to further understand how each person’s unique will relates to different personality types, and how these express themselves. It teaches tolerance and compassion for those whose purposes and individual makeups differ from our own.

The original workshop was designed by Piero Ferrucci and Diana Whitmore, who orchestrated Assagioli’s largely unfinished work on this theme into a form which can be taught. This model was adopted by the Psychosynthesis Academy in Stockholm. Mats Westlund, an ex-student with a lifelong passion for Transpersonal Psychology, spent several years refining this work within the context of the Integral Psychology model of Ken Wilber. We believe the outcome of this refinement is a course with clearer distinctions between typologies and a deeper understanding of people’s motivations to be the way they are. It focuses on the emerging refinement of the Will. We will see how the so-called distortions of an unrefined will, can develop into behaviours which could be classified as “normal”, and how the more refined qualities relate to our potential.

This work is leading edge stuff. There is no other course currently addressing these concerns in quite the same way. We believe it will fundamentally enhance the life of each participant by giving clarity and direction to their purpose. This will apply not just to one’s personal life, but also to the wider issues of professional work and relationship with others.

Lärare

Åke Chadell är diplomerad psykosyntesterapeut, PsA, med en bakgrund från Handelshögskolan i Stockholm. Han har arbetat som managementkonsult på SIAR. Nu kombinerar Åke det med sina erfarenheter som terapeut, handledare och lärare vid PsykosyntesAkademin Han hjälper organisationer och ledningsorganisationer i förändringsarbeten. Han arbetar också med ledarskapsutbildning och ledarutveckling, ledningsgruppsutveckling, coachning och utbildning i det coachande ledarskapet, grupputveckling och gruppdynamik.

Rosie Manton BA trained at the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust London in 1984 under the direction of Lady Diana Whitmore, and has been Senior Trainer at the PsykosyntesAkademin from its inception.
She has a background in movement and dance (Laban based), and trained in 5 Rhythms creative dance with Gabrielle Roth. She also trained in Holotropic Breathwork with Stanislav Grof.
She brings a body-based bias into her teachings at the Psykosyntes- Akademin, and works at the PsykosyntesInstitutet in Gothenburg, and at the Trust in London.
She has a strong leaning towards the transpersonal, to help reveal the full potential of all those with whom she works.
